Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Construction Technician in our Omaha office. The ideal candidate for this team will be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Support experienced Construction Techncians with Santiary & Improvement District (SID) tasks and duties. 

Additionally, this candidate will:

  • Observe, collect and report the progress of current residential neighborhood infrastruture repairs and improvements projects that include paving operations 
  • Responsible for the completion of Working Day Reports and Daily Diaries
  • Demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on project sites
  • Work outdoors in both developed and natural environments

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively work independently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with longer hours while maintaining concentration in varying weather conditions
  • Ability and willingness to work in both the field and office settings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand frequently
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record & reliable vehicle

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s and/or Bachelors Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related
  • Previous experience with Construction Observation or Engineering field services experience
